THE WOOHOO REVUE
Back in 2008, The Woohoo Revue played their first FRL. It was 3am on the Hilltop Stage and nobody could anticipate the pandemonium that would ensue. Speaker stacks fell. Punters spilled over foldback wedges onto the stage. A guy cracked his head open, spraying blood across the front row of the manically writhing audience, only to come running back sporting stitches from St John’s in time to catch the end of the set. It was Folk music meeting Punk Jazz in a way that can only be brewed in the Balkans. It was an unforgettable time for all who experienced it and set the bar for all Woohoo Revue experiences to come. The band decided to call it quits in February this year, but like FRL, they just don’t know how to stop the party.
US: ERM YES, YES ROLL UP ROLL UP LET’S SEE HOW MUCH BLOOD WE CAN SPILL…!
